Weeknight Alfredo Pasta with Salmon
This creamy Alfredo pasta with salmon is a quick and delicious weeknight meal that combines rich flavors and satisfying textures. It's perfect for busy evenings when you want something comforting yet elegant.
Begin by bringing a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta to the boiling water and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
While the pasta cooks, heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the olive oil. Once the oil is hot, add the salmon fillets to the skillet and season with salt and pepper.
Cook the salmon for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until it is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
Remove the salmon from the skillet and set it aside on a plate. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally. Add the grated Parmesan cheese to the cream and stir until it melts and the sauce thickens slightly.
Once the pasta is cooked, drain it and add it to the skillet with the Alfredo sauce. Toss the pasta in the sauce until it is well coated.
Flake the cooked salmon into bite-sized pieces and gently fold it into the pasta. Serve the dish hot, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.
