Begin by preheating your oven to 375°F. In a mixing bowl, combine 1/4 cup of maple syrup, 1/4 cup of balsamic vinegar, 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard, and 1 teaspoon of garlic powder to create the glaze.
Whisk the ingredients together until well blended. Next, take 1 pound of boneless, skinless chicken thighs and place them in a baking dish.
Pour the maple-balsamic glaze over the chicken, ensuring each piece is well coated. Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
While the chicken is baking, prepare the apple slaw by shredding 2 cups of green cabbage and 1 cup of carrots into a large bowl.
Dice 1 medium apple and add it to the bowl along with 1/4 cup of mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
Toss the slaw until all ingredients are well combined. Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing it into bite-sized pieces.
To assemble the sliders, slice 8 small brioche buns in half and place a piece of chicken on the bottom half of each bun.
Top with a generous spoonful of the apple slaw and then place the top half of the bun on each slider.
Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious sliders!
