Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a small bowl, whisk together 3 tablespoons of miso paste, 2 tablespoons of pure maple syrup, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, and 1 teaspoon of sesame oil until smooth.
Place 2 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each) on a lined baking sheet and brush the miso glaze generously over the top of each fillet.
Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
While the salmon is baking, rinse 1 cup of quinoa under cold water and then cook it according to package instructions, typically using 2 cups of water or broth.
In a separate bowl, combine the cooked quinoa with 1/2 cup of diced cucumber, 1/2 cup of diced orange segments, 1/4 cup of chopped fresh cilantro, and the juice of 1 lime.
Once the salmon is done, remove it from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes.
Serve the salmon on a bed of the quinoa mixture, garnished with lime wedges and additional cilantro if desired.
