Korean Galbi Ribs
Korean Galbi Ribs are tender, marinated beef short ribs that are grilled to perfection, offering a sweet and savory flavor profile that is beloved in Korean cuisine.
Start by preparing the marinade. In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and black pepper.
Mix the ingredients until the sugar is dissolved. Next, add the beef short ribs to the marinade, ensuring they are fully coated.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Remove the ribs from the marinade and let any excess marinade drip off.
Place the ribs on the grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are nicely charred and cooked through.
Once cooked, remove the ribs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes. Serve the galbi ribs hot, garnished with sesame seeds and chopped green onions if desired.
