How to Specify Dietary Restrictions

Updated over 1 year ago

Set up your dietary restrictions once in settings, and they'll automatically be applied to every recipe you generate on the dashboard.

Setting Up Your Dietary Restrictions

  1. Go to Settings from the main navigation
  2. Find the Dietary Restrictions section
  3. Search or browse through available options organized in 6 categories:
    • Allergens & Food Exclusions (27 options): Gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free, soy-free, low-FODMAP, etc.
    • Lifestyle/Ethical Diets (29 options): Vegan, vegetarian, keto, paleo, Mediterranean, carnivore, etc.
    • Religious & Cultural Diets (12 options): Kosher, halal, Hindu Satvik, Jain vegetarian, etc.
    • Medical/Therapeutic Diets (24 options): Diabetic, heart-healthy, low-sodium, GERD-friendly, etc.
    • Weight Management Programs (8 options): Weight Watchers, South Beach, Zone Diet, etc.
    • Processing Preferences (12 options): Organic-only, no added sugar, GMO-free, raw food, etc.
  4. Click on any restriction to select it
  5. Your selections are automatically saved

How It Works

Once you've set your dietary restrictions:

  1. Go to the Dashboard to generate recipes
  2. Your dietary restrictions are automatically included in every recipe request
  3. You'll see your active restrictions displayed during recipe generation
  4. All generated recipes will comply with your selected restrictions

Tips

  • Use the search box to quickly find specific restrictions
  • Select multiple restrictions - they all work together
  • Update anytime - your restrictions can be changed in settings
  • Still mention specifics in your recipe prompts if you have additional requirements for that particular recipe
